As Registered Manager since 2021, he has led Britannia Fostering Agency with a strong focus on safeguarding, quality care, and positive outcomes for children and young people.
With extensive experience in fostering management, supervising social workers, and supporting foster carers, Monis is committed to ensuring that every child receives safe, stable, and nurturing care. Under his leadership, the agency has successfully achieved two consecutive Ofsted “Good” ratings, reflecting his dedication to excellence and continuous improvement.
Passionate about supporting foster carers and promoting children’s welfare, Monis works closely with professionals and families to create the best possible outcomes for every child in care.
Azhar Amir
Supervsing Social Worker
Azhar is a highly experienced social worker with over 20 years of experience across social care, mental health, and fostering services in both the UK and internationally. Since moving to the UK in 2004, he has worked in a variety of specialist roles, including Community Mental Health, Crisis Services, and as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP).
Within fostering, Azhar has extensive experience as a Supervising Social Worker, Form F Assessor, and Fostering Panel Member, supporting foster carers and helping to ensure positive outcomes for children and young people.
At Britannia Fostering Agency, Azhar plays a key role in supporting foster carers, undertaking assessments, and promoting safe, stable, and nurturing placements. His knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to high standards make him a valued member of the team.
Rumana Parveen

Pooja Gajengi
Admin
Pooja plays a key role in the day-to-day administration of Britannia Fostering Agency, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. She supports foster carers, staff, and partner agencies by coordinating communications, maintaining records, organising training and events, and assisting with compliance and administrative processes.
Known for her friendly and helpful approach, Pooja is often one of the first points of contact for foster carers and prospective applicants. She is committed to providing excellent support and ensuring that enquiries and requests are handled promptly and professionally.

Ashraf Amir
Responsible Individual & Director
Ashraf serves as the Responsible Individual and Director of Britannia Fostering Agency, providing strategic leadership and oversight to ensure the agency delivers safe, effective, and high-quality fostering services. He works closely with the management team to maintain regulatory compliance, uphold best practices, and ensure that the needs of children and young people remain at the heart of everything the agency does.
